Nothing was too much trouble in making my safari an experience to remember for ever. The facilities at the hotel were excellent and the staff were welcoming and hospitable. I would not hesitate to recommend Exposed Africa and hope to do another trip with you to Kilimanjaro when I return.

Even after we completed the tour, he helped us find other places in Tanzania to visit and stay -- all at no additional cost! He was remarkably knowledgeable and thoughtful in his approach.

The safari itself was outstanding. Lodging (we chose the Comfort+ option) was uniformly excellent, with courteous and helpful staff. The food was good, and the restaurants were able to accommodate our vegetarian requirements which is a plus. Our guide (Zungu), was a superstar. Very kind and patient, he was an expert at locating all the animals and sights we wanted to see. Spending six days with him was delightful.

Overall, I can see why this is the most recommended safari company in by its visitors. Fair price, excellent service, an overall great experience. I plan on coming back again.

  We booked our Tanzania Safari with Exposed Africa for 6 nights for our Christmas holiday in 2019. We were a group of 10 and most days we had 2 groups... read more of 5. Our family was with Zungu (guide) and he surpassed our expectations as our steadfast safari guide. He is such a nice driver, navigator, animal hunter, naturalist, cultural liaison, interpreter, scheduler, lunch server, conversationalist, historian. Always polite and calm and willing to engage in cultural conversations, politics and reflect on complex topics. Not only did he change a tire in the middle of the bush, twice, he even helped a stuck driver out of the mud which we thought was rather heroic and generous. While we wanted to see the Big 5, he made no promises. He cautiously made our dreams come true, often heading off in a rush and spotting animals for us with binoculars. He interacted with our children and taught them things, mostly about the animals, their habits and environments. On our own game drive he took the three children for their own grand adventure while the adults were behind in the other vehicle. Lucky for them to spy not only one leopard but two as they got ahead of us. We will never forget the memories we made on our safari. Thank you Zungu, we really appreciate your strong guiding skills and leadership. Our strong recommendation for Exposed Africa Team to all those planning to visit Tanzania. We will definitely go with them again next time when we return to Tanzania.

They were always looking out for a new sights or animals to show us, even after the game drive had ended and we were driving back to the camp, and would answer all of our many questions with great generosity. I believe that we were extremely lucky to have them as our guides and drivers for this trip, and would definitely recommend them and Exposed Africa to any friend that considers visiting Tanzania. We really hope to go back again sometime!!

  An Amazing Serengeti, Ngorongoro and Zanzibar

We booked an 8-days package that includes Serengeti, Ngorongoro, Tarangire and Zanzibar. It was an amazing trip to have gone in Africa.... read more Nicholaus (guide) spent the first 4 days with us in the parks before we left for Zanzibar. He took and guided us through the national parks and we saw the big 5 and many more other animals.

He was fabulous with my 15 and 17-year-old boys who had 1 million questions. Nicholaus had 1 million answers and then some! He Interacted with us and you could tell he enjoys his job.

He’s a super intelligent and humorous man who made us feel comfortable from the get go. Every day he would ask us what he wanted to see, and he would find it as we moved along in the parks.... be it lions, leopards, cheetahs, elephants, giraffes.... most any kind of animal. We were in a single safari jeep and not in a major tour, which made it very personable.

We then flew to Zanzibar, our favourite dream beach we have been hearing about. We had a lot of fun. I couldn’t get over the beach excursion and the swimming on the 4 sunny days we spent in that awesome Hotel. Bravo !!!!! Exposed Africa. Thank you for the memories.

I can’t say enough nice things about our guides on Safari and Zanzibar. They could tell that they really grew to like our family as well. Exposed Africa and the clients that travel with Nicholaus in the Park and Pandu in the coast as their guides will never be disappointed!

  This is our 3rd time hiking Kilimanjaro on different Routes (Marangu, Lemosho and Machame Routes) with 3 different Tour companies and we managed to summit all the 3 times. But,... read more our experience with Exposed Africa was the best ever.

They have a really very professional team, and with kind and loving soul, you always feel that they really enjoy what they are doing.

They have High-standard Equipments (bio-toilet is highly recommended, tents are warm and beautiful. We even got warmers-soft toys every night). They were very attentive and responsive to all our personal requirements. The food was wonderful, and congratulations to Michael (chef) we really enjoyed every meal every day.

We had very caring and amazing Team, they took medical check-ups twice-a-day, including measuring oxygen level. They were very helpful when I got severe stomach crunches the night before we needed to go to the summit.

Our guides - Moses and Nassoro - are not only professionals, but also kind-hearted, knowledgeable and interesting people, teaching us a lot about mountains. They even taught us a few Swahili words along the way.

Godfrey - the manager with whom we confirmed everything about the trip - knows a lot about Tanzania. He also climbed the mountain from all sides and knows all the details.

And last, but not the least - all the team treated the mountain and nature with respect, no garbage left. BIG-UP to the TEAM

It was terrifying being out of our country but the Team, Exposed Africa has exceeded our expectations! They made sure we were in the best secured hotels, and even to revise our itinerary for some few activities like cultural visits and planned for something else to avoid interaction.

Honestly, I can’t say enough about them but they were affordable, great quality of service, very punctual and Godfrey was very responsive to any questions/concerns we had prior and during the trip. They were even able to accommodate my wife and daughter’s gluten and dairy free dietary restriction. We had Frank as our guides/drivers and he was so knowledgeable and a lot of fun! I was always in the front seat of the Jeep and had a lot of great conversation, he answered all of our questions, and gave us a lot of good information. He also was able to spot an animal in hiding very quickly and without binoculars. We loved every accommodation we stayed in that Exposed Africa organized, we loved the packed lunches they provided (and all meals were great), and overall, we had the best time.
